Valley Green started off the 2014 year releasing their new album “Northwest Rootz,” which has taken them in a number of new directions. Their true Roots take them all the way back to First Grade, when Tim (guitarist) met Royce (drummer) and first became friends. It didn’t take long for them to meet Riley (keyboardist) and Nathan (bassist) and grow up as best friends. VG was formed in the summer of 2011 and specializes in throwing down those Roots Rock Reggae jams. They have enjoyed their first headlining tour, (Northwest Rootz Summer Tour) traveling down the West Coast, featuring bands Just Chill, The Sindicate, Dewey and The Peoples, Special Blend, Spliff Vision, Item 9, and Tribal Order. Valley Green has been fortunate enough to share the stage with nationally known artists such as KBong, Seedless, New Kingston, True Press and Through The Roots. As they continue to expand their reach keep an eye out for this up and coming band.

Combining all the best elements of groove and funk with their own uniquely soulful and charismatic style; their sound is a reggae butter and rock jam sandwich served up on slices of cognizant hip-hop and “253” alcohol soaked thrash. Think Sublime punk attitude meshed with Pepper’s island pulse, and the epic psychedelic guitar rifts of The Expendables, with a shiny, ripe Rainier cherry on top. The band is made up of brothers Ben Webb on vocals, Ary Webb on drums, and Corbin Webb on guitar (Sequim, WA), Justin Beasley on guitar, keyboard, and vocals (Eugene, OR), Austin Waszkiewicz on bass (Bremerton, WA) and Joshua Nguyen the Emcee (Auburn, WA).
